![]() The other guy in the salon seems good - he handled 3 customers in the time she handled one (or maybe he's not any better but he seems to have a following). As far as the pedicure, she must've charged me for a spa pedicure without my permission but barely clipped the cuticles, etc. Overall I'm annoyed that i spent almost $80 on a poor job. I did give her $10 just bc I couldn't bring myself to skip the tip, but it wasnt deserved. Also I appreciate they allow you to add the tip onto your credit card - BUT the minimum they suggest as a tip is 20% - this would have been almost $15 which I find excessive, especially given my poor experience and that I was overcharged. I guess she added things on without asking but I didnt complain bc I just wanted to leave as I was running late and had been there so long. Also, she charged my credit card $67 for a pedicure and fill - based on their menu of charges it should've cost around $54. In addition, four days later two of my nails have broken - and as they've grown out there's a thick ridge around the bottom edge - just not professional work - I'll have to get them done over again this week. Usually I plan on a little more than an hour. Also, the process for a pedicure and fill took too long - one hour and 45 minutes. She also took virtually nothing off the length so they're too long and definitely won't last me two w eeks. Also, they're not properly squared off as they clearly were when I walked in the door - way too rounded. First, they were filled way too thickly and are not completely smooth. The woman who did my nails was nice so i hate to write a bad review, but my nails were done badly. I dont usually go here but was in town and in a pinch so I tried it. Unfortunately this was just a terrible waste of money. They’re rude, expensive and will certainly ruin your nails. ![]() I hate to say something negative about a small business but please avoid this place at all costs. ![]() I went to my regular place at home today and when she took off the gel they had put on, my nails were paper thin and so damaged underneath. My nails are yellowing which is disgusting and makes me believe they’re using harsh chemicals. I tried wiping it up after he was done wrapping my nails and he grabbed my hand, set it to the side and said “You’re fine.” I was hesitant to write this post because the woman who then painted my nails saw this and tried to be nice and make me comfortable but the way my nails now look after A WEEK AND A HALF is unacceptable. He spilled the acetone all over me, my dress and the chair, and didn’t wipe it up when he was done. When he was finally done, he put acetone on my bare nails which was confusing because he had already stripped everything off my nails. I told him multiple times it really hurt and he told me it was because I kept moving (naturally I pulled my hand back when the filer slipped and it hit my skin). He proceeded to us the electric filer to take off my gel and let it slip three times, hitting my skin, and filed the gel off ALL OF THE WAY DOWN TO MY NAIL B EDS. The man asked me twice if I had gel on my nails before we started and he didn’t believe me, saying it must be dip. I regularly get my nails done at home and went to Summer Breeze because I was on vacation with family and needed to get them done before I went to a wedding. I have never had a worse experience at a nail salon.
